Elite Computers Return Policies

General Policy

These are Elite-Computers-llc.com’s (“Elite Computers LLC ”, “we” or “our”) Standard Return Policies applicable only to products purchased by you directly from the Elite-Computers-llc.com website.

  • All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Elite Computers Customer Service through any of the methods provided at Elite-Computers-llc.com
  • Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us:
    • Any product not purchased from Elite Computers LLC
    • Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number
    • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product
    • Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging
    • Any product that exhibits physical damage
    • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate

Mail-In Rebate Policy

Any product offering a mail-in rebate is not returnable to Elite Computers LLC once the rebate has been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace a defective item missing the UPC code.

Combo, Bundle and Kit Specials

Combo, Bundle, and Kit Specials include two or more items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Items sold as part of a Combo, Bundle or Kit may be returned individually for replacement within the applicable Elite Computers LLC Return Policy Period for that individual item. If an individual Combo, Bundle or Kit item is returned for a refund, the applicable discount will be voided, and the discounted amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If your combo/bundle/kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the item you wish to return, then the item cannot be returned for a refund; you will need to return all items in the combo/bundle/kit in order to receive a refund.
– For example: if your combo/bundle/kit discount was $5, and you return one of the items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.

FINAL SALES RETURN POLICY–NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENTS

This is our Final Sales Return Policy. This policy controls over any conflicting refund and replacement terms described in our Policy & Agreement and Return Policy. Please contact the manufacturer for any concerns.

CPU Replacement Only Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: non-refundable
  • Return for replacement within: 30 days

Products that state “This item is covered by Elite Computers LLC  CPU Replacement Only Return Policy“, or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Elite-Computers-llc.com within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item if the original item is no longer available. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite Computers, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:

  • Any CPU that is physically damaged
  • Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent/broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

Memory Standard Return Policy

This is our Memory Standard Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which Elite Computers LLC states “This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only“) must be returned to Elite Computers LLC within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite-Computers-llc.com, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:

  • Any memory exhibiting physical damage
  • Modules that are missing the manufacturer label containing model number and part number
  • Modules that are missing the manufacturer warranty label
  • Modules that were shipped with a manufacturer-applied heat spreader, but have had the heat spreader removed
  • “Kit” Modules (which contain 2 or more memory modules packaged together) that are not returned as complete set
  • USB Drives, Thumb Drives, Flash Memory, or any related product that is returned without the cap or protective casing

Computer Standard Return Policy

This is our Computer Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which Elite-Computers-llc.com states “This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only“) must be returned to Elite-Computers-LLC within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite Computers, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

A new, unopened desktop PC, notebook, or tablet PC can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date for a full refund. No restocking fee will be charged. However, customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost unless the return is due to a Elite Computers error.

An opened desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that is free from defects in materials or workmanship can be returned (in new condition with original product packaging) within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund, subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price and related shipping expenses, all at Elite Computers sole discretion.

The following conditions do not qualify for return:

  • Any defective desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC returned after the 30-day return period;
  • Any desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that has physical damage due to abuse or improper use;
  • Any desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that is missing any accessories or original product packaging including, but not limited to, AC adapter, battery, manuals, and UPC code.

An opened and used Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC that is defective can only be exchanged for the same item within 30 days of the invoice date. For defective item returns after the 30 day return period, please contact the manufacturer directly.

A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Elite Computers LLC sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law. While we strive to adhere to our own standard RMA processing times, we cannot guarantee that these times will be met, especially in situations where the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repair. If you have a question regarding returning a Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC, please contact our Customer Service Department.

Some computer systems will require pre-authorization from the manufacturer technical support in order for an RMA to Elite Computers to be authorized.

For computers that have had an additional operating system(s) installed, we will provide you a refund or exchange as noted in the above policy as long as the original operating system is not corrupted or removed.

You should be certain in your decision to purchase a Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC and must agree to this policy before completing your order. By confirming your order, you indicate your agreement to this policy.

Monitor Standard Return Policy

Manufacturer’s Warranties

Elite Computers LLC does not offer any express warranties. However, many of the products available through Elite Computers LLC are covered by Manufacturers’ Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, it will be stated on that product’s web page. Manufacturers’ warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer’s website; click Contact Manufacturers to see a list of the manufacturers whose items we carry. Detailed manufacturer warranty information can also be obtained for free by contacting our Customer Service department. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.

Products that state “This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only” must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or “end-user”) of the item.

Computer Cables and Accessories Extended Return Policy

This is our Extended Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which Elite Computers LLC states “This item may be returned for refund within 45 days only”) must be returned to Elite Computers LLC within 45 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item after 45 days of the invoice date for one year. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite Computers LLC , and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

Extended Warranty Plan Limited Refund Only Return Policy

Products that state “This item is covered by Elite Computers LLC  Non-Replaceable 30-Day Return Policy“, or items labeled as “Non-Replaceable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Elite Computers LLC within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a refund of the same or equivalent item. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite Computers LLC , and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

DOA Policy

If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately or fill out the online RMA request form. Most products (excluding software and consumables) can be returned if DOA within 30 days of invoice. DOA merchandise must be returned with all original packaging and accessories for the return to be accepted. Full refunds are only given to non-functional products. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items.

Recertified Limited Replacement Only Return Policy

Products that state “This item is covered by Elite Computers LLC  Replacement Only Return Policy“, or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Elite Computers LLC within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item, if the original is no longer available. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Elite Computers, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

FINAL SALES RETURN POLICY–NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES/REPLACEMENTS

Limited “Refund Only” Return Policy

  • Return for replacement within: non-replaceable
  • Restocking Fee: Yes, up to 15%

This LIMITED “REFUND ONLY” Return Policy applies only to Products with labeling that states “This item is covered by Elite Computers LLC Limited Refund Only Return Policy” (or similar labeling). Products must be in UNOPENED CONDITION, and returns must be received by Elite Computers within 30 days of the invoice date or this policy will not apply. Mere issuance of an RMA by Newegg does not qualify as a “Return.” The unopened product must actually be received by Elite Computers LLC before the deadline stated above.

The following will NOT qualify for return under this policy, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:

  • Items that have been opened
  • Items lacking the original packaging

“DOA” (Dead-on-Arrival) Products

If a product arrives and is completely non-functional (DOA or Dead-On-Arrival), contact us immediately or fill out the online RMA request form. Most DOA products (excluding software and consumables) can be returned for refund within thirty (30) days of invoice. DOA merchandise must be returned with all original packaging and accessories for the return to be accepted. Full refunds are given only in the case of non-functional products.

NO PRODUCT REPLACEMENTS WILL BE MADE.

Customer is responsible to pay shipping costs on all returned items.

International Order Return Policy

  • Restocking fee: Yes

Defective or damaged products that state “This item is covered by Elite Computers LLC International Return Policy” must have an RMA issued by Elite Computers within 7 days from the delivery date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a refund or replacement. In the event a product is returned that is not defective, the product will either be returned to the customer or the return shipping cost initially covered by Elite Computers will be instead be deducted from the refund amount along with any necessary restocking fee that may apply. Software Licenses Replacement Policy

All sales of software licenses are final. We do not accept returns of software licenses. Software may require you to use a computer or other device meeting minimum system requirements, and you are responsible for ensuring that your computer or device meets software system requirements prior to purchase. Generally, software system requirements are available on or from product detail pages. Software licenses are usually delivered within 48 hours depending on additional order validation required by Elite Computers LLC or your credit card company.
